On Monday April 24, 118 Year 7 students received Principal’s Awards in acknowledgment of their outstanding behaviour and effort and extra-curricular participation. This represents 67% of Warwick State High School students who have achieved a behaviour level 1, 2 or 3 and significantly exceeds the school target of 50% of students being on behaviour level 1 -3. It is pleasing to acknowledge that 51 of these students (29% of the cohort) were acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to the school and in receiving a level 1 Principal’s Award.
It was pleasing to see so many students recognised for their outstanding behaviour and effort and for their contribution to extra-curricular activities at Warwick State High School. The Principal’s Award recipients are acknowledged for their considerable dedication and for their contribution to the school as role models for all students. Their achievement reflects their commitment to the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships and is a testament to their caring and supportive parents and care givers, many of whom were able to attend the ceremony. We thank all parents and care givers for their support.
