Bring Your Own Device 2024

“BYOd” stands for Bring Your Own Device, where students may bring their privately owned laptop to school and connect it to the school’s network to access the Internet and school resources.

Years 11-12 BYOd 2024

In 2024, all Year 11 and 12 students must bring their own laptop to school. As our curriculum changes, delivery of lessons will rely on students being able to access their own device with the majority of textbooks in a digital format, rather than paper copies. Students will have the ability to seamlessly continue their work between home and school as they develop critical technology skills and prepare for their futures in the 21st century.

If you have any queries regarding the below specifications, or are experiencing financial hardship please contact Mr Daryl Thompson (Deputy Principal) on 46669222.

Years 7-10 BYOd 2024

While the school has a limited number of computer labs available for use by Years 7 to 10 students, we encourage students to join the BYOd program in order to access school digital resources, such Internet, email, personalised storage drives and printing.

If you have any queries regarding the below specifications please contact Mr Daryl Thompson (Deputy Principal) on 46669222.

Terms and Conditions

To participate in the Bring Your Own Device program, students must:

  • Be a financial member of the Student Resource Scheme in order to allow access to school resources, digital textbooks (years 11 and 12 only, where available), internet, data storage and printing
  • Accept all policies and guidelines as per the School’s Code of Conduct for Students
  • Understand that failure to comply with the Responsible Use Agreement (originally signed as part of the student’s enrolment) could result in the loss of access to the school’s ICT network.

School Lockers

The school will provide all students access to their own personal locker so they can safely store their laptop, and other school items, during the school day.
